Cologne comedy filmfestival 2008
And the Winner is ...
“How To Lose Friends & Alienate People”
(New York für Anfänger)
The english production of Robert B. Weide won the german comedy award in the category "Best international comedyfilm". Explanatory statement of the Jury: How to lose friends & alienate people“ is a comedy at a good pace with an outstanding leading actor Simon Pegg. The british perception at the restless VIP-Life in New York and Hollywood from a gossip columnists point of view is funny, surprising and enigmatic.
The award ceremony took place on Sunday, 19th October at the "Koelner Filmhaus"
